When did you begin paragliding?
1991
What does paragliding mean to you and your life?
Paragliding has ceased to be just a hobby. Paragliding has turned into a way of living. I would do anything just to fly.
Where are your favorite paragliding spots and why?
The Alps and the Dolomites – the relief gives me a nice feeling.
What are your best and worst paragliding memories?
I would say that training in the French  Alps  for the Red Bull X-Alps competition ranks number one among my best memories whereas my worst…. it must be my apprenticeship strewn with accidents. One funny incident comes to my mind : I was in hospital recovering from an injury and I ran away with my friends to… fly.
What is your biggest sporting success?
There is no doubt that the second place in 2007 has been my greatest accomplishment so far. But let me remind you : I am aiming top spot this year.
Why does the Red Bull X-Alps interest you?
There can be only one answer to this question: I love challenges and no other competition can offer an equally opportunity to overcome my limits. Moreover,  flying above the Alps baffles all description.
Have you competed in the Red Bull X-Alps before and if so, when?
Yes, I can proudly say I have taken part in each and every edition of this breathtaking competition.
What will be your strategy during the race?
I’ ll definitely have to prepare for long flights and no more running!!
What do you think will be your weaknesses?
Disposition, patience and hurrying.
The Red Bull X-Alps is no picnic. How will you cope with two weeks of pain and exhaustion?
This has ceased to represent an issue for me. I have long learn to ignore any pain and by focusing more on my ultimate goal no fear or pain will ever stand in my way.
