Some personal highlights
My first paragliding adventure dates back to 1991. Eversince I have taken part in many competitions , both national and international, some of which I have won. Other than this, there have been some adventure goals I wanted to carry out. Here is a list containing some of my personal achievements:
2009 things to come
2008 1st place Rimetea Paragliding Festival
2007 – 2nd place Red Bull X-Alps and special award for the X-Alps Man of the competitions
- reached the top of Kilimanjaro ( Uhuru Peak 5891m), Tanzania
- covered an awesome 167 km thus establishing a distance flight record using a DHV 1 glider in the Keryo Valley, Kenya
- a 235 km personal record , Alpes Maritime , France
2006 - 2nd place Romanian PG Open / Aradului Cup
- 2nd place Romanian Pg Open, Fagarasului Cup
- 3rd place Romanian Pg Open, Romanian Cup
2005 - 8th place Red Bull X-Alps
- 5th place Red Bull Cape Town Man
2004 – 1st place Romanian PG Open /Aradului Cup
- Romanian national champion
2003 – 9th place Red Bull X-Alps
- first time running in Red Bull Giants of Rio
- 3rd place Romanian Pg Open / Pro-Aero Cup Tg. Jiu
- new national distance record on a tandem paragliders
2002 9th place Red Bull Dolomitenman
2001 – 1st place Romanian PG Open / Transilvania Cup
- 1st place Romanian Pg Open / “Ziarul Ziua” Cup
1999 – Romanian national PG vice-champion
